Shri Krishna Stone Company has been manufacturing sandstone temples and traditional stone handicrafts from Dausa, Rajasthan since 2016. Our work covers custom temple projects for homes, farmhouses, gardens, religious sites, and commercial developments, with each project built around the customer's space and requirements rather than a fixed design.
Working directly from our Rajasthan base, we handle temple construction alongside related work such as sandstone jali, fountains, and decorative stone carving — all produced using natural stone and traditional carving methods suited to Indian temple architecture. Because manufacturing happens in-house, customers deal with the people actually building their project rather than an intermediary.
That experience now spans 500+ completed temple and stone handicraft projects, with deliveries made to customers in 25+ states across India. Whether the requirement is a compact home mandir or a larger temple structure, projects move through the same process: careful planning, skilled execution, and attention to finishing.
Large projects also come with our own transportation planning rather than a standard courier handoff. Our team manages packing, loading, unloading, and site handling directly, so carved stonework arrives without damage regardless of distance.
Shri Krishna Stone Company has been manufacturing sandstone products since 2016, working from our base in Dausa, Rajasthan. Our approach combines traditional carving techniques with CNC-supported precision, so each temple can be built to exact dimensions without losing the hand-finished character that stone carving is known for.
Every project starts with the customer's space, architectural preference, and budget. Artisans handle the detailed carving — pillars, domes, jali patterns — while CNC-supported work is used where precise, repeatable dimensions matter, such as matching panels or aligning structural components. Neither replaces the other; they're used together depending on what a particular design calls for.
Our manufacturing covers temples, jali screens, fountains, decorative pillars, domes, flower pots, lamps, and custom carving work. A compact home mandir and a larger temple complex go through the same process — carving is planned around the actual space and requirements rather than built to a fixed template.
Picking a manufacturer for a stone temple is a long-term decision — the work has to hold up structurally and visually for decades. Here's what that comes down to when working with us.
Every stage — design, carving, delivery, and installation support — is handled by our own team. There's no subcontracting a project out to a third party partway through, which means fewer handoffs and more consistency between what was agreed and what actually arrives.
We work with Bansi Paharpur Stone and Dholpur Red Sandstone, chosen based on what the design and location call for rather than defaulting to whatever's easiest to source. Stone grade affects how carving detail holds up over time, so this choice matters more than it might seem.
Skilled artisans handle the carving itself, while CNC-supported work keeps dimensions accurate on pieces that need to align or match exactly — domes, pillars, and repeated architectural elements in particular. This combination reduces the finishing inconsistencies that come from carving everything by eye alone.
Dedicated transportation planning with careful loading and unloading.
Custom sizes, carving styles, and architectural layout are worked out for the actual site — a home mandir isn't just a smaller version of a large temple design, and it's planned that way from the start.
Large temple components are packed, loaded, and transported under our own coordination rather than handed to a generic freight service. The same team that understands how the stonework was built also manages how it travels and how it's handled on-site.
Custom temple sizes, carvings, pillars, domes, and architectural elements.
Since 2016, we've completed 500+ temple and stone handicraft projects, with delivery across 25+ Indian states — covering everything from compact home installations to larger commercial and religious projects.
We believe every temple should reflect the customer's vision. From selecting the stone colour to the carving style and final finishing, each project is manufactured according to individual requirements rather than using standard designs.
Our Pink Sandstone Temple collection is handcrafted using premium Bansi Paharpur Stone, one of India's finest natural sandstones. Customers can choose from different natural shades, including light pink, medium pink, and premium white-tone sandstone according to their design preference. These temples are suitable for homes, villas, farmhouses, and large religious projects. The pink sandstone temple price varies depending on the size, carving details, stone grade, and finishing.
A Red Sandstone Temple offers a timeless traditional appearance with exceptional durability. Manufactured using quality Dholpur sandstone, these temples are ideal for outdoor installations, public places, and residential projects. Every red stone temple design can be customized with decorative pillars, domes, arches, and handcrafted carvings to match your architectural requirements.
Our compact sandstone temple for home collection is designed for modern interiors without compromising traditional aesthetics. Every home mandir is handcrafted with detailed carvings and customized dimensions to create a peaceful and elegant worship space.
We also manufacture decorative sandstone jali, handcrafted sandstone fountain, flower pots, stone lamps, and customized sandstone carving work for residential and commercial projects. Our collection includes more than 100 jali patterns and a wide range of traditional and modern stone designs.

Sandstone temple price varies quite a bit from project to project, since no two temples are built to the same size or carving detail. The main factors that affect the final cost are temple dimensions, stone type and quality, carving complexity, and the number of architectural elements involved — pillars, domes, jali work, and decorative finishing. Transportation distance and installation requirements are also part of the final number, especially for larger structures.:
| Small outdoor temples | Starting from approximately ₹30,000 |
| Standard sandstone temple for home | Around ₹2,50,000 |
| Large Pink Sandstone Temple | Starting from approximately ₹6,00,000 |
| Large Red Sandstone Temple | Approximately ₹6,00,000–₹15,00,000 |
| Sandstone Jali | Starting from approximately ₹600 per sq. ft. |
| Sandstone Fountain | Starting from approximately ₹40,000 |
These figures are indicative starting points, not fixed prices. Your actual quotation will depend on the design you choose, the level of carving detail, the stone selected, where the temple needs to be delivered, and whether installation support is required at your site.

A stone temple goes through several stages before it reaches your site — from selecting the right sandstone to final installation. Understanding this process helps explain why timelines, pricing, and finishing quality differ from one project to another.
Every project starts with choosing the right sandstone for the design and budget in mind. For projects that call for finer detailing, we work with Bansi Paharpur Stone, available in natural shades ranging from white tone to medium and deep pink. For more traditional designs, Dholpur Red Sandstone is used, valued for its durability and long-term weathering. The stone recommendation depends on the customer's architectural preference and how the temple will be used — indoors, outdoors, or in a public space.
Once the stone is decided, we work out the temple's size, layout, and architectural details — pillars, domes, jali patterns, and finishing style — based on the space available and the customer's requirements. This planning stage draws on experience from 500+ completed temple and stone handicraft projects across homes, farmhouses, gardens, commercial buildings, and religious sites, which helps identify what will and won't work for a given space before production begins.
With the design finalized, stone components are shaped using CNC-supported precision cutting to get accurate dimensions, particularly for elements that need to align or repeat — such as jali panels or matching pillars. Detailed carving is then completed by hand, since this is where the artistic character of a temple actually comes through. Each finished component is inspected individually before moving to packing.
Before dispatch, components are checked for finish and dimensional accuracy, then packed securely for transport by truck or pickup vehicle, depending on the size of the shipment. Delivery is available across India, though the time required depends on your location, the size of the project, and transportation distance — for reference, many projects are dispatched and delivered within roughly 3–5 days, but this varies case by case.
Installation support is available for applicable projects, particularly larger temple structures. Where installation is carried out, our team assembles pillars, domes, beams, and decorative elements for structural stability and correct alignment, and applies a protective treatment where suitable to help reduce the long-term effects of moisture and surface staining.
Natural sandstone has been used in Indian temple architecture for centuries, valued for its strength, natural texture, and how well it takes fine carving detail. Pink sandstone tends to suit designs where intricate, artistic carving is the focus, while red sandstone offers a more traditional, weathered look with strong durability. Both work well for indoor and outdoor structures. The right choice depends on your design preference and where the temple will be installed — and with proper installation and regular maintenance, a well-built stone temple holds up well over many years.
Small sandstone temples generally start from around ₹30,000, while larger custom projects may cost significantly more depending on the design, stone quality, carving work, transportation, and installation.
